Brothers
Brothers is a tiny community 43 miles east of Bend on the Bend-Burns highway. It’s got a gas station and cafe, a highway rest stop and a school district that supports a single one-room school, with five students, last time we checked.
Brothers may be best known to the outside world because model rocket enthusiasts come here to fire off their rockets in the very wide-open spaces that surround the town.
